20-Year Vision
As of today, October 6, 2017, I am 16 years old. This means that in 20 years I will be 36. While I have no clue what the next 20 years have in store for me, I hope that by the time I am 36 I will be working somewhere in the field of computer science. However, where I am working is not a big deal to me. While it would be nice for me to be working under a large technology company, I would not mind being a freelance computer scientist either.
Action Plan
The first step to achieving my goals is to graduate high school and attend college. I need to continue to work hard in all my classes so that I can obtain good grades and get into a university. Once I am in a university, I will take classes that will better my coding skills and overall knowledge of computer science. I also hope to form connections with others and build my network, in order to be able to find work in the future. I also plan on searching for internships, to gain more work experience and increase the amount of connections I have. I have no specific goal in mind yet, so it is hard to pinpoint the steps I need to take to achieve my goals. As long as I continue to work hard and make good use of my time, I believe that in 20 years I will be successful and financially stable.
